In a sea of options there are easy things that can make you stand out.
Be the person or the organisation that’s always responsive, that deals with the question, that volunteers something beyond the minimum. Be that rare service organisation that meets its service levels and fulfils its promises. Be the team member or partner or supplier that always adds energy to the conversation and never takes down ideas just because they’re hard or inconvenient or coming from the wrong person.
In short, that does what it says what it’s going to do and within the time committed.
It’s as easy to stay on top of things as to stay one hundred emails behind, seven or twelve or twenty three days late on everything.
Ultimately, it’s a choice. To be like everyone else or to stand out because you’re not.
