The thing about questions

Fossil

The thing about questions. They need answers.

Don’t ask questions if you can’t deal with the answers – that’s asking for trouble.

Don’t ask for questions if you’re not prepared to give answers – that’s insulting.

Don’t ask questions if you’re not going to act on the answers – that’s a waste of everyone’s time.

Don’t ask questions if you’re going to ignore the answers – that just pisses people off.

The thing about questions. They want to be answered.

Do ask questions to get to get bottom of things, to expand your understanding, your knowledge, to get data, to gain insight, to learn, to grow. Do ask questions that extend and expose, that make you vulnerable, that build confidence, that break down problems into bite size chunks.

Do ask for questions, no matter what.

Deal in questions, deal with answers.

Skippy Strategy: You already know what you know. Questions take you further.
