We like it when they handle all the little things with good grace, when they demonstrate the spirit of the deal and not the letter, when they listen and treat us like partners.
As a seller, let’s remember what it’s like on the other side of the exchange. Let’s do the right thing, no matter what. Let’s handle the issues and do the thing right, whatever it takes. Let’s consult and consider. Let’s answer the ringing phone and respond to the email – the way we like it ourselves – quickly and like a human in involved in the conversation.
