It’s entirely possible that you truly are a one man band. That you can do it all perfectly well on your own, and now you think about it, better than anyone else. “So move over. I’ve got it.”
For the rest of us, a little help goes a long long way.
Yet, action oriented, we sometimes take over when things aren’t working the way we like.
A partner lets us down – I got it. The design isn’t just so – I got it. The delivery must be today – I got it. The works are in meltdown – I got it. I got it. I got it.
Problem is, even if you’re pretty good at this stuff … time is finite.
You can do less on your own than you can with help.
Whenever you’re underwhelmed, don’t take over – find better helpers.
