A matter of time

There’s so much advice about getting things done.

Blowing through all the prioritisation and location, it all pretty much boils down to:

1. Work out what to put on your to-do list.

2. Do those things.

But there’s a little category we keep in a dark recess at the back of our minds. They don’t make it to the to-do lists. They’re things that only get worse if you leave them alone.  And having to fix them is just a matter of time.

Things like … investing in alternatives to our own cash cow, dealing with the bully, extracting ourselves from the destructive contract, climbing out of a financial irregularity, digging our way to freedom.

The big idea: if it’s only a matter of time … today looks pretty good.
