Most companies business plan can be summarised as: same as this year, but a little bit better.
5% growth in sales, 5% reduction in costs. Umm.
Not very…
At some point … after all the posturing and positioning and smiles and grimaces, after the he saids and she saids, the partial or prejudiced interpretations, after doing every damn thing possible to talk up your end or talk down theirs … everything is on the table.
Now it’s time to talk turkey.

A looks like this – with all its upsides and downs.
B looks like this – with all it’s downsides and ups.
So which is it? A or B?
No one gets everything they want. It’s always sub-optimal.
