There’s a what and a when and a who. What need to be done, when it should be completed, and who is going to make it happen. At every level of the plan, from the big and scary level that plays out over a year, right to the tactics of completing every little thing that’s shaped on a day-to-day scale, there’s a what and and when and a who.
Of the three, the one that makes the difference is the who. The who is the one responsible for the what, who’ll deliver by the when, who’ll work through the problems and bring in the help and complete their tasks and do whatever else it takes to do the what by the when.
Start with that. Who is responsible, at every level, in every time-frame. Who will make things happen?
Skippy strategy: The most important component of the plan, the who.
