Knows and hates

So we do it this way, which nobody likes.
Everybody, everybody, everybody thinks there must be a better way than how we do it now.
So the wrangling start.
We could go left or right, north or south, the direct route or the roundabout route. And if we do that, then we need to consider this variable and that imperative and those issues and how about all that extra complexity that we need to handle before we even consider whichever step we need to take next.
So we take the easy route and stick with what everybody knows and hates.
Or not.
It doesn’t have to be complicated.
You don’t have to solve the problems of the universe before you start.
Treat the first step as the first prototype.
Forget perfection.
One simple step and then the next simple step.
