Most companies business plan can be summarised as: same as this year, but a little bit better.
5% growth in sales, 5% reduction in costs. Umm.
Not very compelling is it? Inspiring? Doesn’t make you want to charge up an impossible hill. Won’t be something you tell the folks back home. “Ah, that was the year we …”
Rolling through December can be a little dull. Not many decisions being made, people checking out early or focused on closing out, not opening up.
