Pinning them
At the end of things, whether it’s a project a partnership or a calendar year, it’s a time to reflect and a time to look ahead.
Looking in the mirror, truly looking in the mirror and observing the objective reality, always offers a harsh judgement. It is however the only place you can hope to find the absolute truth. Shy away if you want to, look from the edges if you only want to gaze on your ego. But there, staring straight back, the only assessment that really matters.
Looking ahead, starting with dreams and then pinning them to the ground with plans and actions, is the way to get the things done that you want to get done. The alternative, greet each day with a deep breath and a deep dive, is a recipe for busy-ness at the expense of progress.
Skippy strategy: Look back honestly, look forward thoughtfully.
