The very act

Poles

You have to work out what to do about that thing.

“I don’t know what I think. I don’t have enough information or experience to have a clear view. It’s just something we need to nail down and I don’t really even know where to start. You too. We each have part of the picture but nothing’s clear and we keep talking around it without talking about it. The clock’s ticking and, whilst the world won’t end if we kick it around for another month or two (although it might in three) … we’ve made no progress and we’re getting nowhere.”

Keep putting it off or … put it on.

The very act of sitting down with a single purpose, and just talking about it, even if you don’t know where to start, will get you started.

Skippy strategy: One whiteboard, thirty minutes, enough interested parties to get the ball rolling.
