There are people waiting for you now. Some on your team, working on something else (if you’re lucky) whilst they wait for you to make a decision or give them some information or connect them to a colleague or clear a bottleneck. Some amongst your supplier, working with someone else whilst they wait for you to give them the nod so they can work for you. Some of them are customers, staring at their inbox, keeping things on hold whilst they wait for you add your magic or clear the work they need from your team.
You know how much you hate wait for other people to do the things you know they can do and they know they should do.
Don’t be them. Get out your pen, your email, your phone, your conference call, and get things moving again.
