You’re caught
None of these things happen because we want them to. No end of hoping will make the difference. Wishing is lovely but all it makes…
Sometimes the capital S System turns its evil gaze on you. Some hiccup in the processing of some date in some back end server someplace – and now you’re caught in the loop.
Of course, there’s the moment of doubt, then disbelief, then the iniquity of it … and all that before you buckle in for what promises to be a long haul whilst you prove you did all the things you were supposed to do and that they didn’t do what they were supposed to do, including checking their own processes and double-checking their facts. Grrr.
Along the way, you run the risk of being consumed by frustration and anger. Focusing on the wasted time and effort and doubling them as you take every opportunity to grumble along.
Don’t.
Do put pen to paper. Push the process. Keep your cool. Focus the energy where it matters.
