Balanced between jumping in to impose your will and standing back to let others find their way. The thought process … What am I willing not to do? What can I let go? How can I keep out of the way and let them get on with their job?
What kind of a leader you are is measured by how often you choose the difficult path. Not too hot, not too cold, but just right.
Skippy Strategy: Next time you have the urge to jump in, fight it. Try to find your footing on the difficult path, look for a way not to get involved.
