In the loop

With so many data points flashing across our screens and thudding on our desks, it’s easy to forget that some people are out of the loop.

Crucial people with critical roles and a vested interest – but no absolute need to know.

Like the production guy who worked late five nights straight – who, sure, gets a pat on the back and an overtime cheque – but has no idea that his efforts turned into a 43% hike in output and mean the difference between positive and negative cash flow next month.

Outside the loop, unable to see the connection between what they do and the impact and value they make, it’s all a bit remote.

Bring them inside.

Twenty seconds. Show them the data. Talk about what it means.

Skippy Strategy: There’s very little truly sensitive data. Actively share as much as you can.
