Prickly pairing
We’re all a little prickly sometimes.
Someone says something insensitive, or fails to say something, or forgets to ask someone. Or a customer is arrogant, or acts entitled, or doesn’t appreciate the effort, or doesn’t say thank you. Maybe something just goes bad.
Sometimes, yeah, life sucks.
But we get over it, all on our own.
When you see prickliness, listen if they want to talk. Be supportive, but don’t take responsibility – it’s their little problem, and they’ll get over it on their own.
You don’t have to sooth every wound.
