Shack

Assuming I take care of basic hygiene and health, what happens if I keep on driving for weeks and months and years? Find myself in places I like? Don’t like? Come out in the same place I’d started, just older and poorer? In a zen-like state? Manitoba?

Nobody knows. And that’s a pretty poor bet if I want to get someplace special.

Easy as it is to keep on doing what I’ve always been doing, if I stop paying attention to my surroundings, to what’s changing, to how I’m affecting everyone around me, chances are I’ll end up some place I don’t want to be.

The journey might be fun, so might the result. But I don’t want to leave that kind of thing to chance.

Notes: Work hard, pay attention, make active choices.
