There are some questions that can’t be asked, the ones you avoid, even in the middle of the night, that bug you, and that you know – if you gave yourself just a minute to consider – would come out with an obvious but impossible answer. So you shut them out.

Until something easier to handle comes along that means you can take your mind off not thinking about the question that can’t be asked.
And that’s ok.
Until it isn’t.
At some point you have to answer the question. The only debate is over timing.
How about today? How about the day you realise that all roads lead to Rome so you may as well make a choice about the fast or the slow, the high or the low.
