At the end
In the middle of the bell curve, you’ll find yourself buried in the anonymity of mediocrity. Perfectly acceptable mind: the average hotel, the ok service, the middle ranking product, the unimpressive restaurant, the ordinary employee, the by-the-numbers project team. Ok, but nothing to write home about, nothing to get excited about, responsible, trustworthy, non striking, unnoticeable. Average.
Nobody will really mind what they get, it’ll probably do the job, servicable. Ho hum.
Is that what you want? Wouldn’t you rather get out in the edge? Where you’ll be excited, challenged, where there will be things to comment on, some good some bad, where you’ll be forced to have an opinion, things you’ll tell your friends about, recommend to others.
At the end, you’ll find the person you must hire, the hotel you have to return to, the things you love.
