But you can’t eat your favourite food at every meal. Home Ec had it right, we need all the major food groups and all the minor nutrients. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon.
There’s your favourite part – then there’s the rest of it.
Administering the bureaucracy, wrangling the numbers, wrestling the schedule. Networking, socialising, selling. The actual schematics, building it out, going to market.
Even in a team, chewing down the unpalatable stuff is just the way it goes.
If you have to moan about it, moan about it with joy. Let them know you hate it and that you do it willingly anyway. That’s showing the way.
