Get back up

Wilderness

So you find yourself on your arse. Keister in the dust. Feeling sorry for yourself. A bit miffed.

Maybe you’ll look around to see who put you there.

Scream and shout.

Howl at the moon.

Maybe you’ll spend the next six minutes, days, weeks, months or years blaming the other guy. Dragging their name through the dirt every time you’re given enough rope to get up on your high horse.

Maybe you’ll mope around in the wilderness.

Maybe you’ll join the cynics, running scared and leery at anything that isn’t exactly what you know.

Or … maybe you’ll get back up, let it go, and try again.

Skippy Strategy: Learn the lessons, but don’t spend all your time looking back. Look out front.
