There are always the little jobs. Covered in moss at the edge of your to-do list, or maybe just off, almost out of sight, not even…
There is time.
Well, maybe not today.
Maybe today you’re under the cosh, whipping around between emails and meetings and phone calls and firefights.
Maybe this week there are more things to do than you can deliver.
Maybe this month for this project in this place you’re having to stretch the deadline and sell it as a benefit.
So there’s all that to work on.
Which means then … this is not the time.
Not the time to work out strategy, to build the team you want, to deliver the value you promise, to put effort into causes rather than just with effects, to become the business you say you want, to play in the bigs.
And all that not time … is what causes those other problems.
