What am I willing not to do?

Three paths:
The easy path – The do it myself path. The take control path. The do it my way or it’s the highway path.
The lazy path – The look on from the sidelines path. The watch them try path. The cry when they fail and joy when they succeed path.
Between the two …
The difficult path – Balanced between jumping in to impose your will and standing back to let others find their way.
The thought process … What am I willing not to do? What can I let go? How can I keep out of the way and let them get on with their job?
What kind of a leader you are is measured by how often you choose the difficult path. Not too hot, not too cold, but just right.
Skippy Strategy: Next time you sway to the easy or the lazy path, step back. Try to find your footing on the difficult path.
