Sometimes, that’s the way to go. When quickness or betterness are the only metrics that matter.
Most times though, they’re somewhere lower down the priority scale.

Lower still down the scale, some projects are as much about learning how to do the thing that the thing itself. Yes, quality is important. Yes, delivery counts. But stand back, coach, mentor, encourage, ask them to explain their thinking, nudge them in the right direction.
Clear the path if you have to, but let them take the steps.
