This team. These people. The most important soles in the project, the one’s you need with you. Your fellow travellers.
Which you know. Which you accept. And which you’re always in danger of ignoring as the pressures of the project squeeze your time, suck your attention, and provoke you to take for granted the things you’re most familiar with … your team.
Whatever else slips through the net, protect the time and care you give those you need the most.
Prioritise the meetings with them, fulfil your commitments to them, keep them in the loop. No short cuts, no half measures.
