The scaffolding

Those moments come along rarely, and when they do, it’s only possible if you’re ready.
Being ready means being open to the possibility in the first place. Focused enough to be making the kind of progress that gets noticed and creates the potential for a moment, but aware and alive enough to know when the moment comes.
Being ready means having capacity to do something about it. Busy, but not too busy. And that means having and using the kind of networks and support systems, in place and humming, that are capable of flying on their own for a bit whilst you spend time in the moment.
Being ready means being willing to step out of your comfort for a moment to spend time building the scaffolding.
Not too bold, but not too scared.
Skippy strategy: Be open, capable and willing to take advantage when the moment comes.
