Factory gate

There’s one last chance, at the factory gate. Right before you send it trucking, hit the send button, sign off on the proposal, close the meeting, shake hands and walk out the door. Just checking. Did we deal with the typo’s, all of them, did the point land home, was the connection clear, what did you hear when I sad those words, is everything in the box, have we tested and tested and tested for bugs, did we deliver the value, the quality, the price, were all the components as expected, are you sure we’re expected?
When you’re familiar with what you’re doing it’s easier to imagine everything is in its place than it is to be sure. Add a factory gate check. Someone with the job of looking in the box, counting all the pieces and doing the thing that makes it good.
Skippy strategy: There’s no harm checking.
