Over that horizon

What would happen if you cleared your plate? What would happen if you did all the things you said you were going to do an there was nothing else waiting in your path? What would it feel like to have an empty inbox and no one banging on your door? What then?
Maybe you’d panic. Maybe you’d finally work out what was in the middle of your Venn diagram, sitting snugly where all the things you care about coalesce. Maybe you’d strain your eyes towards a tiny speck that might just be on the other side of the horizon, over there, and start taking steps.
Your plate isn’t cleared. You have things to do and people waiting. But take that panic, look at that space in the middle and take a moment to imagine what might be over that horizon.
