We should all resign our least favourite suppliers.
The people and organisations we work with that we don’t enjoy, who let us down, with uncomfortable views, who underwhelm and are late, where we always, always, always have to chase and where quality of any kind comes with a grudging delivery and overt attitude. The ones we complain about every time, the ones we talk about at home, the ones we don’t want to talk to.
Why do we put ourselves and our teams through it? Why do we accept what we’re given without using the ultimate sanction? How can we divorce ourselves from taking action with this outsider when we would never let it slide with an insider? Don’t we care?
There is always another supplier. One with better service, better attitude, keen prices and a desire to please.
