The reporting

Bow

Wouldn’t it be good if you had a system that told you about the things you need to know.

Two systems actually.

One would give you real-time information on the issues and numbers you need to understand how you’re doing against the day-to-day run-rate stuff. Like number of leads, or units sold and shipped, or project progress, or days of stock, or any other metric that, if you know it, you stop wasting time wondering and enable decisions that move the stick.

The other would be a system that flags issues and roadblocks. Issues ahead of the day-to-day curve. Blocks in the road like when technology smells like it’s shifting, or there’s a new player in town, or the political wind swings northerly, or interpersonal problems.

Let’s call them a dashboard and some intelligence.

Let’s call that the baseline.

Skippy strategy: Build the reporting you need.
