A to double Z
Some problems are possible to out think. You can sit in a room with coffee, your laptop and notebook, and noodle away until everything is resolved. Sure you have to do the actual doing part, but the whole thing is clear from A to double Z.
But that never happens.
The reality is way more messy. There may be a room and a laptop and a notebook involved, but there’s likely to be a bunch of them, a slew of other people, a circular game called Iterations and more time than it takes to drink a hundred cups of coffee.
And of all those iterative steps, the ones that make most sense – the ones that move the needle as you chug from notion to final product – are the ones where you get up from your notebook, do actual things, and make stuff happen.
Skippy strategy: It takes more than thinking.
