The first thing of course is to work out what you’re working on. Not the next thing on your to-do list, not whatever it takes to get through the day, not that report you know you need to write for the customer you know is awaiting its findings. Not that stuff. Not other people’s stuff. Your stuff. That thing you know you want to achieve, like the book you want to write or the product you want to build or the process you want to renew or the business you want to create. That stuff. That first decision sets the agenda for every thing else. When you know where you’re going, you immediately have clues about what to do next. And then after that.
So now, before you down tools and go away, before you relaaaax, what do you really want.
