You can wing it

There are times when you can wing it.
Most times actually.
When you can work on the basis of experience and enthusiasm and relationships and guesstimates. Sometime between now and the day things have to happen, you’ll muster all the forces and kinda sorta bring it together until the cracks aren’t too obvious and, with a following wind, you’ll get by.
Some times though, the only game you can possibly bring is your best game.
When you have to clear the decks and point all your best people in a single direction, give them the space and focus and attention and the support they need to prepare properly, give them the vision to shoot for and high expectations, then give them the resources necessary and bring them to bear.
And, getting your hands dirty, knuckle down until the job is done.
Skippy strategy: Your best game isn’t winging it.
