Fix it

Fixed

The thing about trying new things, or setting out on unknown paths, or doing things never done before, or any leap of judgement … it might not work.

What then?

There’s not much that can’t be fixed.

So fix it.

That doesn’t mean trust to luck, ignore your homework, or jump without a parachute, Geronimo!

It does mean get on with things as soon as you have a decent plan.

What’s decent?

The one your gut’s happy with.

Running things, maybe one or two decisions a year are critical – and higher stakes demand higher standards – the rest of the time, get your gut on your side and get on with it.

Skippy Strategy: When there isn’t a right answer, go with your best idea. If it doesn’t work, fix it.
