The problem problems

Some people have more potential than others. Some make more of their potential than others. The winning ticket, naturally, is to start with high potential and make the most of it. As for people, same for teams. As for teams, same for organisations.

No matter where you start on the potential curve (wherever we start in the mirror, wherever we find we’ve landed on any give day), the high success strategy is to make the most of where you start. That involves having some kind of idea for what you’re about, and then working the problems as the come at you – every problem. Of course there has to be prioritisation and some problems off the list for lack of impact.

But no problems should be ignored – especially, especially, especially the ones you find unpalatable. These ones eat away at everything.
