As the calendar turned. You breathed in, you breathed out. The to-do list was crunched. The email wrestled, the day-to-day overcome, problems were managed you took one step forward and one step back.
Never in control of anything, never deterministic in anything other than vague intentions and kinda-sorta directions of travel, everybody busy standing in place.
Reality happened to you.
Drifting.
