An interest

Curve

You can’t always work where it’s interesting, but it helps. It helps to work with interesting people who have diverse and challenging ideas, who push and pull at the boundaries, who understand the why as well as the what that they’re doing and are able to talk about it too. It helps to work on interesting things, that aren’t mundane, that have an impact that people, actual people, care about and talk about and share about. It helps to work in interesting markets, with interesting customers and interesting partners – any of which, at any moment, can make you stop and think and change direction and challenge assumptions.

You can’t always work where it’s interesting, but it helps. It helps you and it helps everyone around you.

What defines interesting? They’re interested – in you, in impact, in understanding.

Skippy strategy: Show an interest and see where that gets you.
