Some projects burst out in a blaze of glory. Lights flash, music blares, crowds cheer as you hit the launch button and tell the whole world that today is the day.
Other projects … not so much.
They’re private, discrete, not for public consumption. Months of work signed off with the silent closing of a folder on your computer, the click of a door, the file slipping into a drawer.
Recognise the moment. A little fist pump. Salute the empty screen. Stand back and breathe.
No fanfare, no clapping, no whoop-de-dooing.
Just that feeling of a job well done.
