To provide water
How are you doing? Not physically, and only partially emotionally, the question is really about progression. How are you doing on a six month basis in terms of progress in your work and your role and your contribution to your team? In the broadest sense, are you winning?
The answer starts with a clear understanding about those questions of work and role and contribution.
In a sentence or two tops, and starting with To …, what are you here for? To provide … something/water, to enable … something, to deliver … something, to create … something. To do … what?
And with that clarity, how are you doing? Are you on track and ahead of the curve or off track or behind the curve, moving forward but moving slowly.
And then it isn’t about the question at all. It’s about what you’re going to do next.
