There are tough days.
When you bring new things to meet the world, or build teams or make change, there are a lot of difficult days and weeks and months where the only thing you know for sure is it’s going to get harder before it gets less hard and there’s no chance of easy, not any time soon.
One day, with luck a following wind and much effort and anguish, the good days start to come. Sometimes they gather in groups. Eventually, with the right people around you, the good days outnumber the bad ones.
That doesn’t mean it’s easy, just easier to see why it’s worth the effort.
When it happens … when the happy faces outnumber the stressed out ones … take a moment to notice.
Respect it.
Reflect on it.
Break bread over it.
Then get back to work.
