Clean some house

London

When you start out – whether that’s at your own new place or with an established team – you tend to move fast. Not quite running at a thousand miles an hour, but nearly. Not trying to keep every single ball in the air, but almost. Not exactly knocking down nine pins, but bulldozing some of them. It’s a rush. And in a rush, you leave a few stones unturned, little compromises that weren’t today’s problems.

Now they are. Because after the rush, all those cans you knocked to the curb and kicked down the road are hanging around, ready to catch your wheels next time around. It’s time to go back and deal with the people issues, sort out the technical debt, polish your positioning and proposition and product, work through your wheelhouse.

Stop putting it off and clean house.

Skippy strategy: Today is a good day to clean some house.
