Solving the problems
So often, so very often, we’re left wondering what’s going on.
Will they, won’t they, have they, haven’t they, when, how, where, what’s the next step, is…
So much, so very much, comes down to problem solving.
The biggest difference between the ones we trust – the ones we rely on, the ones we know will get the job done – and everybody else, is that they actually solve the problems. They get inside the issue, they work it, they talk about it, they put actions in place that make a difference, and they cement the ones that work.
The others; maybe they take a look at the problem and apply pattern matching that kinda-sorta gives them a clue, maybe they find a fix that papers over the cracks and gets things working again (for now), maybe they talk about it and talk about it and talk about it, maybe they dodge responsibility and pass the buck to the next guy in the line.
