Waiting on the b of bang

There’s a plan – probably not a great plan, probably drawn up by someone who is point focused and has nothing else to do. Not so much a plan as a fantasy. Based on an ideal notion of everyone being in the same position, at the blocks, with one thing and one thing only on their mind.
Then there’s the do-ers – probably not at the beach or waiting on the b of bang. More likely, they’re maxed out fighting the good fight of getting through the day and trying to keep everything on as even a keel as possible trying to get actual things done.
So what happens when the ideal plan meets the maxed out players? The plan loses, the players lose and everyone gets frustrated with everyone else. And that’s no way to get new things done.
Skippy strategy: Plans only work when they’re planned with the do-ers.
