Well worn

Flight

Getting things going means making stuff up. Stuff that you or your team have never done before, for people who’ve never had it before, and all in ways that no one has ever seen before. It’s a struggle for a reason. The first time always involves hard graft, many miss-steps and more than a helping of luck – it’s almost a miracle. The second time is easier – minus the hiccups and luck but still involving a lot of up-hill effort.

After that, it’s down to you – and it’s all about organisation.

Keep making it up as you go along … or … develop a process, write and use a checklist, learn the short-cuts and iron out the wrinkles, get ahead with a work-flow, smooth every kink … make time for muscle-memory.

The easy path? The one you use again, again, again.

Skippy strategy: Create your own well worn path.
