Everyone’s busy.
The product developers, the sales team, legal, finance, customer support. Procurement are fighting the the good fight, despatch are stacking things up, and everyone in between is buried in the day-to-day struggles that made you bring them onto the team in the first place.
In all that busyness it’s easy to lose sight of what’s going on. The default position is miss what’s happening down the hall, to be ignorant of the wins and losses, to not even know that you can help them and they can help you. And we all fail together by missing the links.
Our job – buried in the busyness that makes up our day-to-day – is to join things together. To show how procurement affects despatch and that each can help the other. Linking sales to legal to finance to product to everyone … getting them to dance together.
