Issues with eggshells

Cycle

When you find yourself worrying about dealing with an issue with one of your team because of how badly you expect them to react, you know you’re on the wrong side of the looking glass. No one member of the team, even you, can hold the rest of them to ransom. No one member of the team, even you, can let them hold ransom either. When you know you have to do something, and are afraid, you know you have to do something immediately.

If you can’t bring yourself to deal with the issue of the day (although, what’s the worst that could happen? … and you know you’d find a workaround if it did) deal with the issue of having no contingencies.

Set things up so they’re no longer important enough to cause issues with eggshells.

Skippy strategy: Today, start the process of making this one person less singularly critical.
