No contingencies

When you find yourself worrying about dealing with an issue with one of your team, because of how badly you expect them to react, you know you’re on the wrong side of the looking glass.
No one member of the team, even you, can hold the rest of them to ransom.
No one member of the team, even you, can let them hold ransom either.
When you know you have to do something and are afraid, you know you have to do something immediately.
If dealing with the issue it so high stakes (although, what’s the worst that could happen? (and of course you’d find a workaround if it did)) deal with the issue of having no contingencies.
Set things up so no single thing can make you worry about eggshells.
Skippy strategy: Today, start the process of making this one person less singularly critical.
