A block buster

Flow

Everyone loves a block buster. The kind of person who takes on failing system and breaks through the issues, who connects the disassociated facts and parts and puts them in touch with each other, who pushes and pushes until things get moving again, who takes responsibility and won’t let go until the job is done and done right.

Push, push, good, that looks better, let’s keep going, great. Job done.

Customers love it – it means the project’s moving forward.

Suppliers love it – it means we’ll get to the finish line.

Colleagues up, down and sideways love it – great, someone’s taking responsibility. I might not like the pressure but at least there’s someone on the job, connecting and coordinating, cajoling and creating the environment we need to do the things we need to do.

Someone has to bust the blocks and push the moving parts along.

Skippy strategy: Who does that? You?
