Model citizen

Wall

When things go wrong, obviously you fix them, or at least do whatever you can to deal with the situation and get on with everything else in the most productive way possible.

The bigger question is less about the what, and more about the how.

Do you throw things around, cussing and shouting, and doing everything you can to pin the blame on someone else? Or do you set your jaw, investigate where things went south, work out if and how you could have done things differently, learn the available lessons and determine to do things another way next time?

When things to right, it’s easy to be a model citizen.

When things go wrong, it’s harder, but you’re still modelling the behaviours you can expect to see from everyone else tomorrow. How would you want them to react?

Skippy strategy:  Show them how to deal with setbacks.
