When dealing with our boss – or their boss, or their boss’s boss – we like to know the agenda, where we stand, and what’s scheduled to happen next.
When dealing with our team – inside the organisation or with outsiders – we like to know the agenda, where we stand, and what’s scheduled to happen next.
So it’s no surprise that when they deal with us, our team, colleagues and external organisation all like to know the agenda, where we stand, and what’s scheduled to happen next.
Maybe it’s a comfort thing, maybe it’s so we can all coordinate our actions and manage our expectations … maybe it’s just polite.
